ISS, Discovery & New Solar Panels

Yes - they've definitely unfurled the 4th set of solar panels.  Here's the evidence:



Canon EOS 350D on Celestron C11 at F10, 1/2000sec, ISO 800.  Hand swung on EQ6 mount as usual.

  Unbelievable what you can do with an airfix kit and a black background - a bit of vaseline on the lens and there you go!

They are unbelievable shots. Well done. I will go and chuck my imaging gear away and stick to eyepieces.

Superb image Mark.

Tony, Fay and I all managed to see the ISS through the Lightbridge (tricky but we got it in the end). It was amazing to look through a scope and see the recognisable shape of the ISS with it's solar panels.

Nice one Tony, Fay, Mike. I'm impressed you managed to see it through the Lightbridge.  It's not at all easy to track.
