Another M42

Hi All, just a quick M42 I managed to get before I head in last night, The battery on my mount was wearing down so The guiding was getting very sluggish and I had to drop the exposure time down to 2 minutes.

Anyway, this is 29x120s at ISO 800 I've used the core of the one I posted last week as the core had blown out on this one.

That's looking very good.  I love the colour in the image.  M42 is definitely on my list this year - but I'm waiting until it appears at a more convenient time of night!!

Starting to look good .. and is that a leg of the running man I see appearing in the lower left !
