Not amazing but not done too many Moon images, yet. Taken 110508 around 650 frames each one, with DMK/ ED80, x2 barlow

Seeing was really bad, I thought the Moon was under water!!

Can someone tell me the name of the areas please.

Hi Faye, I see you've been busy !

In the bottom picture you have Aristoteles (larger of the two) and Eudoxus, the one upper right middle is Burg in the basin of Lacus Mortis and the mountain range off to the bottom middle are the Caucasus Mountains.  The Basin to the lower right is Mare Serenitatis ... I think that's right !

Your on your own with the other one though !

In the top image you have Theophilus and Cyrillus - you've captured a beautifully detailed image there. 

You might like to compare it with one I took the same evening on my Canon:

I overprocessed this slightly to bring out as much detail as I could in a single frame.

Shame the bottom one is overcooked slightly but the top image is excellent.
