Hi,

I managed to get some alloy from eBay £13 and then a long Dovetail from Ian King at again £13, add £3.88 drill bit and a bag og nuts and bolts at £4.75 and I made a dual scope bracket.  I think thats about £33 all in, the drill can be re-used.

Chris, I am really impressed! Mine cost 100 times more than that!!!!

Must get on with my light box!

Do you think polystyrene tiles would be ok?

What about ultra white halogen bulbs as well?

Hi Fay,

Not sure about mixing a hal;ogen lamp and poly board, just in case it gets too hot?

Wow Fay! - £3,300 for a dual scope mount - was it made of gold & encrusted with diamonds..... :-)

Nice one Chris - good to see the DIY approach & not a lathe or milling machine in place just readably accessible tools at home...

John,

I am a bit prone to exaggeration, to enliven the tale!

OK Fay so when you tell me you've taken pictures of Martians having a BBQ on Olympus Mons I'll know you're pulling my leg.....
