Mike,
i've downloaded a programme on APOD which changes your desktop background automatically every day and this image is today's APOD.

Hi Mike,

I purchase a while ago a Herschel wedge which came with a 2" solar continuum filter.  That image is exactly the type of resolution I get when using the ED80 and the wedge, if you want to have a look its all setup on the pier.

I'll be ordering the adaptors to get the EOS300D onto the set quite soon as well to get some images, but for now there's not enough in-focus.

For anyone who is not aware of Mr Legult go and read his site, he is a really talented imager and has some of the most technically excellent images for the cash he has spent.
