I rang Penny to see if the room was available on Saturday night.

She said that she has not got us down for this weekend & there is a music festival on in the field!!!!!!!

We can stay in the end of the field near the house & washing line, it is all extremely waterlogged, & just go down & enjoy the festival, which would not be quite the point.

She said she has not heard from anyone, & maybe next weekend would be better.

Over to you Paul & Mike.

It is healthier to be mutton dressed as lamb, than mutton dressed as mutton!

We have cancelled DSC this weekend. Keep an eye on the forum for alternatives

Thks Fay - It was fortuitous that you phoned to check accommodation.. I think it saved everyone a lot of unnecesary packing/ travelling... Shame it's been cancelled though but I must admit weather looks none to promising. :-( Anyway - I think I'll stay put in Bromley & if by chance the clouds do break (or the rain stops....!) I'll observe from my back garden.

I look forward to alternative dates.

Cheers, John.

Mike

I have to admit that looking out of the window it doesn't look like the kind of weather i would want to put a tent up in.

Rather them than us, I guess. Mud-baths in the camping ground are a traditional part of folk festivals, after all... ;)
