New Marquee for DSC

Yesterday Mike and I collected the new DSC marquee. a snip at £190 reduced from £250.

It is 5.4metres in diameter, no central pole and I can stand up straight with my sholder to the inner wall. It is big, we could have gone for a 9metre version, but my poor old car roof wouln'e take it cap'n. Plus it was nearer £900.

As I'm a bit poorer now I will be collecting donations from regular DSC'ers we thought £15-£20 each would do it, any extra funds collected will go to the society coffers.

well I guess any spare money could go towards a gert fan for blowing clouds away with. Or snow if Sue's prediction turns out to be accurate...

do we need any form of wetgear or waterproofs with this marquee?
