Sneaking a peek at the southern sky

Sorry you guys but while still on holiday here in Greece the sky has been pretty clear. I could see as far south as Phoenix. Although the skyline was somewhat hazy I was able to make out Ankaa (alpha Phoenicis). The constellation Picis Austrinus was way up high with Formalhaut really big and bright. All this and just lying on a sun lounger on the beach. Also seen some wonderful sun dogs (parhelias).

Getting a bit better at tennis with some help from the coaching. I have also made it to the mens doubles final!!!!! I don't know how that happened.

It's all right for some! It is damp and grey here again today and the weather man has just promised us wind and rain from tonight. Please bring back clear skies on your return!
