2024 Perseids starting to appear...

My meteor cameras have seen their first Perseids of this year. Here's the orbital analysis of one of them:

...and it's not just Perseids at this time of year. Here's a rather pretty alpha Capricornid:

The last couple of nights have been good for Perseids and aurora. Two good spells of auroral activity last night, one around 2230 UTC and one around 0040 UTC, both lasting quite a while. Anyone catch any good images?

After being up imaging all night for the previous 3 nights l had an early night.  😢

Last night one of my cameras caught just under 400 meteor trails and the other managed just over 300. My normal daily track-stack generating run, which usually takes an hour or two, has just ended, having taken something over 12 hours....

The Perseids have produced some pretty meteors this year, but they certainly don't have a monopoly. Here's a pretty sporadic caught by at least twenty cameras last night:

Does that include your camera?
ie don't know whether to put it into "members images".

There is an image from one of my cameras in there, but the prettiest ones are not from my camera, which is at least partly why it's here. Generally, if the image is mine then it'll usually be in the OAS gallery.
