Hello All

Some Sun shots in WL and a DSO I acquired whilst testing my new camera and reducer.

Sun WL - AR13340 - 25 June 2023

Info can be found here:  https://www.astrobin.com/rdworx/B/

Taken with 10" f/20 Maksutov.

And 13341:

Unfortunately since then seeing has been very bad and we have had cloudy skies.  On the morning of 2 July, I managed to capture the monster AR13354 before it went over the Sun's limb, this time with a smaller 94mm f/7 refractor (working at f/33 for the close-up shot).

Finally, whilst testing my camera and reducer for tilt and correct backfocus distance, I acquired (again) this area in Vulpecula:

LDN768, vdB126, LBN133, NGC6793 in Vulpecula - LRGB

https://www.astrobin.com/ccm8wa/D/

Acquired with my usual tandem setup.
Dates:  25 Jun 2023 and 26 Jun 2023
Frames: OSC - 111×150″(4h 37′ 30″)
L - IDAS LPS-P2 50 mm: 22×600″(3h 40′)
Integration: 8h 17′ 30″

The sensor of this camera produces monster frames.  Here's a (very) downscaled version:

Great results Roberto.  Quite a group of sunspots.

I'll add another solar image here as it doesn't quite deserve a new post.  Here's AR13363 which is a very large sunspot currently transiting the Sun's southern hemisphere.  Unfortunately seeing has not been what it was when I took the other active regions above and the weather has been rather cloudy.  But with a risk of not capturing this large spot at all, I decided to take a chance yesterday at midday.  Here's the result:

Sun WL - 10 July 2023 - AR13363 - Poor seeing

Taken in white light with the 10" f/20 Maksutov and an ASI174MM camera.
