Caravans for DSC

I thought that these caravans might be of interest for DSCs.   My uncle has used them and says they are very comfortable and the owners are very helpful and friendly.   They have refurbished them themselves and have 4 of them.  They are based in Whitstable and tow caravans to your pitch as long as it isnt too far.   I have had a look at their website which says the hire charge is £40 a night from November to February.  It goes up to £85 in season.

I will definately be giving them a try for a DSC.

Fay hires a caravan in similar fashion when we go to Kelling.

Great idea!

You're going to pay £100 for a Winter weekend according to their website.  They also say that delivery charges may apply - I strongly suspect they'll charge for dragging a caravan halfway across Kent.

But if you don't like cold tents then it's a good alternative.

Thank you Delphine. May be the way forward for those of getting soft in old age! We have hired a caravan for our pitch at Kelling in a couple of weeks time
