Bluetooth control on Meade question

I have the society Meade ETX 105 and autostar 497 , and trawling internet for help on usage and came across this

Just wondering if anyone has any input or knowledge of ?

It's just a Bluetooth to Serial adapter so should work fine, though I would never buy anything from RS ever as they are the most expensive place to get any electronics. Search for the same thing on eBay.
