Rosette, reprocess 140315

This is an older Rosette, 11x600 7nm ha, QSI 583ws, SW ED80, 0.8fr,  then last week OIII 11x600, 3nm. not that experienced with RGB, but have a list of images that I will get OIII for, this is the first one.

It is healthier to be mutton dressed as lamb, than mutton dressed as mutton!

That's very nice Fay, subtle colouring can be very aesthetically pleasing :)

It also looks like you could increase the saturation a tad, hopefully, without spoiling it.

I know what you mean about spending hours on these images to get the right blend of colour, most of it is wasted too going down dead ends.

oh thankyou Robert. I did increase it a bit, but not on that actual version.
i have a folder with a lot of images that need some colour, but I think a lot of the subjects have moved on now, but I do need the practice

Just checked on my large monitor & looks very nice.. nice & smooth - I would say you could even 'sharpen' it a little... excellent though & actually like the colours.. John
