Comet 2014 in the constellation of Caasiopeia last night (23 Aug 2014)

100 subs of 20sec guided on a background star and stacked on comet head.
Modified Canon 350D on Tak Epsilon 180ED with IDAS LPS-P2 filter accidentally left on.

That tail is very faint.

That's come out really nice Mark. The tail is pointing in exactly the direction I said it was faintly visible in last night. Glad to see you got an image of it.

Fantastic Mark. Really like this and glad someone got it. Been trying to do visual on this last few nights with Bino's and be dared if I can see it. Really like the star colours. Nice one, John.

It is healthier to be mutton dressed as lamb, than mutton dressed as mutton!

Thats a great result.

I wonder how the LP filter affects comet reflected wavelenghts?
