M33 but something slipped out of alignment so it's squiffy at the bottom, shame really.

8 each of 600s Lum bin 1x1 and 180s RGB bin 2x2

Very smooth for such short exposures!  Fast scope, supersensitive camera, dark sky - dream combination!

RobertM

Yes surprising really especially as I didn't do any noise reduction.  In fact because of the squiffy stars I only did DDP in MaximDL which would normally make noise worse.

thats very nice Robert. so few exposures. if i had that setup, i could be in bed by 9pm!
It is healthier to be mutton dressed as lamb, than mutton dressed as mutton!

Indeed, a setup like that has got me thinking ....  ;)

Good data there for such short images, is this your hyperstar?

I think you'll find there is even more detail that can be brought out.
