Just after having a go at NGC6543 I looked at M92 and decided to image it, but the high clouds had moved in so the image is not great.  I will have another go soon.

Ian

this is worth working on. In my opinion, M92 is a much nicer globular than M13. You could try with a barlow too.

Rocket Pooch

Barlow?  I used the focal reducer for this one just for fun, so next time I'll probably leave it off.  Mike pointed M92 out for me back in June and it is nice visually with a very bright core.

Whenever we get a really good clear night, I'll have a decent go.

This one was a stack of 40 x 8 second images at full gain!  So clear skies would be nice.

Ian

sorry, I assumed it was it prime focus.

changing the subject, but has the last couple of months been really bad for observing? Even if it's not been cloudy, the transparency has been appalling.

Rocket Pooch

Like last night I had a look out about 00:00 and there we're obviously no clouds but a lot of moisture so no point in getting the kit out.

Whitters

Lets all hope for nice transparent clear skies for DSC

Rocket Pooch

Apparently it might be ok tonight?
