     I took this with the Sony A380 the 200mm lens, resting on the window sill in our bedroom.  Strange cloud as well......

Very nice Doug, you've captured the earthshine nicely. The cloud is eerie.

Looks great Doug - A very nice capture. My youngest daughter (aged 7) noticed the Earthshine the other day from the car window & commented about how weird it was she could see the whole moon even though only a part was lit up.. So she got her first astro lesson from yours truly. I think I totally confused the child though
