I've finally managed to assemble all poop around my mount and scope and everything seems to be functioning  :-?
QHY Guider and finder scope mounted on a plate (to be transferable), EQMod with rumblepad (pad won't get used initially), Lakeside focuser (autofocus appears to work), Bahtinov Grabber, PHD links with Nebulosity and scope control works through Starry Night.

All this lot done in the warm and dry with nice cups of coffee and it took 2 hours - I foresee many, many headaches when attempting this in the wild  :(

Problems/Issues
Nebulosity seems to be taking forever to display a "preview" which would also relate to a long download time
There doesn't appear to be an EQMod control panel for the focuser despite the drivers being present and it being found OK in Bahtinov Grabber - strangely if I use focuser simulator in EQMod, the Lakeside is shown - Doesn't really matter as I'd either do it manually or use Bahtinov Grabber.
And the weather's crap

For the Canon DSLR "Preview" is as slow as a full RAW download i.e. horrendously slow.

Use "Frame and Focus" instead, until you are ready to launch the full imaging run.

That's why I've just bought APT for the princely sum of 12 euros... See the Anyone used APT... thread.
