I can assure you that it is not legal to run OSX on non-Apple products. There was a huge lawsuit recently over a company that was selling it;s own intel-based machines shipped with OSX and Apple took them to court and won.

Not according to their legal blurb, the product only has to be branded, it dosent have to be Apple Hardware, Just have their sticker on.

you are granted a limited non-exclusive license to install, use and run one (1) copy of the Apple Software on a single Apple-branded computer at a time.
