Menu for Society Dinner - 5th February 2010

Here is the Menu for those who have booked for our annual dinner at the Blacksmith's Arms Cudham. Cost will be £25 including service, drinks extra. We have 30 booked so far with 2 spaces left, if anyone else is interested please get in touch.

I need to let the pub have our choices a week before, so either see me at the next meeting or e-mail/phone/leave message here.

Starters

Tartare of Salmon, served on Salad Leaves with a Warm Dill & Mustard Sauce

Wild Boar Pate En Croute, served with Cumberland Sauce & Toasted Granary Bread

Prawn Cocktail with Bread & Butter

Spinach & Watercress Soup finished with Basil Oil

Mains

Roast Rack of Lamb, Crusted with Garlic & Herbs, served on Crushed Potatoes with a Red Wine Sauce

Roast Sirloin of Scottish Beef, Roast Baby Potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding & Pan Juice Gravy

Corn Fed Chicken Supreme, Stuffed with Leeks, Wrapped in Puff Pastry & Wild Mushroom Sauce

Poached Fillet of Salmon, Sauce Hollandaise & New Potatoes

All above served with a selection of fresh vegetables

Risotto of Leek, Pea & Spinach, finished with Gorgonzola & Parmesan Shavings, served with a Side Salad
