Wow - Mamouth session... Are they all yours or are some Mike's/ Robert's? They all look great...

Are you going to be able to get the centre two stitched together?

Who needs to go to Les Granges when you can go to Romney... you are certainly filling up your messier catalog..

John

PS - Tried m81 myself last night & it is crap - there was loads of high cloud over Bromley...

MarkS

Very nice!! I'm certainly looking forward to the official ones.

As John says, the skies here back in Sidcup on Friday night were fairly hazy.

Yep, they're all from Chris.  He has a pretty massive session and everything went swimmingly.

JohnP

So how did you get on Robert - any images to show.... John

Rocket Pooch

Last night did not go well, I got a bit pissed, and fell too sleep for 13 hours, nice though, I got up at 2:30 to take Frodo out and it was quite clear but Fay and Mike had crashed out because it was cloudy when they were out and there was technical difficulties.

So today we have the colar scope and we are about to give that a go with the DMK, there is not a lot of activity but we will see?

I have LRGB for M101 so I'll do the prcessing properly in the  week some time, also its the 1st time I used the £160 Newtonian for imaging, seems to be worth it.

Fay

Well done Chris, fantastic, all of them!
It is healthier to be mutton dressed as lamb, than mutton dressed as mutton!

Don't ask !!!  CCD camera wasn't seated correctly so stars were slightly out of focus to one edge of the frame.

JohnP

oh dear - so was chip actually coming out of holder....?

RobertM

No, it is a 2" nosepiece that claps in but the fitting can go off square when the screws are tightened.  I was sure it was well seated but obviously not  :(
