My eyes are not so good for focusing, lately. I keep hearing about Robofocus. Am I right in saying this is a motor & you have to make the rest up yourself or can they be bought already complete? I was thinking of FocusMax as software.

Thanks

Fay... hate to be flippant, but wearing a laptop for focusing your peepers ain`t a good idea... howsa bout glasses???  ;)

I do wear glasses when focusing but often, now, I think an image is  going to be ok but when I look the next day, it is clearly not quite in focus, so I need an extra aid!

Fay you can either make one yourself or buy one. Obviously buying a ready made unit is the easiest way to do it, but not the cheapest. You can either get a retro fit unit or if you are feeling wealthy can splash out on a complete new focusser unit with a motorised controller built in. These are the bees knees but aren't cheap.
