You guys will probably already know this, but just incase anyone doesn't I'll post a link to it, Just found this place while looking for tips on recovering detail from images.    http://www.cheapskate-astro.net/

This site has everything, he goes over the various exposures he uses, show's before and after processing images in his gallery, and best of all has tutorials on post processing in photoshop, I have some images of the owl nebula im hoping to process, so any luck, I'll have something to post soon (although i think i may beed to get out and take a few more for stacking first)

While were at it, check out MartinB's (from Stargazers Lounge) site here http://www.astropixels.co.uk/

Look at how much hidden detail he brings out in the Rosette Nebula here http://www.astropixels.co.uk/Guide_levels_and%20_curves.htm   :o

It is healthier to be mutton dressed as lamb, than mutton dressed as mutton!
