I have accidently ordered 2 green laser beams. If any one was thinking of buying one, they can have it for £12.  It is power of 8.

How many mW is it Fay ?

I don't have one I'll have it, unless you like Mike more?

Fay

They are 532nm. They have not been delivered yet but are on their way.

They cost me £18 each but I will accept £12.

Yes but what is the wattage ? Some of the green laser pointers have a very weak beam due to low wattage.

Hi All,
Mike when Fay has said it was the power of 8 I think it is 8mW.

If we get enough of these lasers we can really bug the life out of those carrot crunchers in the JCB, the ones that I wasn't worried about.
Do they sell Kevlar gear on Ebay.

Yes, Tony, they are 8mw. I hope they go further than to the back of the garden! It said that a 5mw went to 2 miles.

If it is 8mW then it should be VERY bright !

Hi All,

I got my 8mW green laser off ebay last week - Cost me £7.50 + £9.00 postage so about the same price (Postage is a real rip off & just a way of upping the price)... Anyway it does work although seems to have a 'warm up period' - need to hold button in for about 1 sec before it gets to full brightness.... You also need to have reasonable 'line of sight' to see the beam but that might be to do with local light pollution/ moon etc. Hopefully it'll be better at dark sight. Anyway it serves it purpose for me & Luke.. It doesn't seem as bright as your's Mike...

Cheers,  John
