Hi All, Impressed by Mike's first attempts I had another go at processing my attempt at M27 from Friday night - I've spent about 3hrs playing with Iris & finally seem to be getting close to pulling all the information out of the Raws (IRIS is great as you can import directly RAW files from 300D). Anyway attached is stack of 10 X 45sec exposures through 6inch Newt. I know it's got lots of problems (horrible shaped stars, noise, uneven background colour...etc.) but it's my best yet - Hopefully improve on it at DSC.

The image is a small 640 X 480 (very small) crop from the original wide FOV - I haven't changed sized....

Cheers,  John.

Great improvement John !
