Have you had a look on Ebay.

Bizarrely I got mine for £10.
Nothing fancy, just a 2 channel 80 Mhz.

Works like a charm, its unfortunately in Spain otherwise you could have borrowed it.

There are a few on there, depends on how quickly you need it.

Likewise I've got one from the depot vente for €20, old valve jobby, green phosphorescent screen,really cool. Unfortunately it's in France!

Thanks guys but if I'm buying one then I'd like to stay away from CRTs due to bulk.

Duncan, you remind me of the green screen oscilloscope with valves that I made during my apprenticeship days; I even made the case from sheet metal and painted it.  How times change !
