Was never quite happy with the final result of this image as I could never get the blue from the Oiii to show through.  Recently I learned a new technique on "Bringing out the faint stuff" (chez Olly Penrice), so decided to have "go" at it.
It's produced a rather unusual result but I quite like it.

Original specs:
QuoteDual Rig

Atik314L/WOZS71
Atik460EX/ED80
Both with x0.8 focal reducer
HEQ5
Ha 29 x 600 = 4 hours 50mins
Oiii 17 x 600 binned + 5 x 300 = 3 hours 15 mins

Total imaging time = 8 hours 5mins

Oiii taken with Atik460/ED80 and Ha taken from both cameras.

I have added links to Astrobin by each image as Duncan is reporting a problem seeing my images.

The Thing

Now I can see it Carole! Very unusual subject, interesting features. My mother in law would like it, she loves anything pink.

Carole

I never intended it to be pale pink, but as I adapted the existing image and then did the Oiii enhancement it automatically reduced the colour which I couldn't get back.

Still makes a change from the bright red images I often post.
