Observing evening 4th October.

     In an effort to encourage more members to attend the Observing evenings, I have moved the venue to Otford. Meet at the Bull in the High St and then adjourn to the park opposite the pub for observing.... if it`s clear. There is a large car park by the open space there. The new information is now on the website.

     The park has a "big" sky, and the lighting around the car park isn`t too bad. Should people want to get a darker sky, the field is but a very short walk away ... alternatively scopes can be set up on the back of the car park; hard tarmac.

     I hope this meets with a good report; if the members wish to continue with this site, please let me know after the Observing evening. I unfortunately won`t be there but Andy Hoggan is my Deputy.
