OK perhaps not the most exciting target at this focal length but I wanted to remind myself what to do.

10 X RGB x 600s, darks, bias & flats applied
captured in AstroArt5
Processed in AstroArt5, MaxIm DL and PS CS4
Scope & camera FLT110, SBIG ST8300M

It feels a little flat but I'm not sure what else to do with the amount of data available, I'd be interested in hearing suggestions to how to improve it.

Full details of kit and process flow can be found here http://www.jovets.co.uk/?q=content/messier-108

Well it's nice to get out imaging again Ivor.

So is this your off axis guider, or have you not sorted that out yet.

This is was done using the Bresser 70 as a guide scope, I should get the new OAG kit by the weekend. Now I know it works enough to image I'm collecting data on M51 over the next couple of days which will be a more rewarding challenge. I'll strip the kit at the weekend and play with the OAG.
