We have decided not to camp at Kelling next week 28/03-02/04, so if anyone would like our pitch - 344 on the red field- you are welcome, please send us a message . For anyone who is familiar with Kelling Heath touring pitches they have closed the yellow block facilities for refurbishment so it will be a longer trek down to the red block loos at the southern end of the site!

Cheers Sue and Roy

Crikey, a long trek to the loo.  Is that why you're not going?

We were concerned about the cold cloudy weather to start with although not showing snow looks likely to be wet and cloudy towards the end of the week. When we heard about the toilet block closure and poor chances of clear skies we decided to have a comfortable week away. So have found a cosy flat in North wales overlooking the estuary and railway in Porthmadog.

Good luck with the DSC, hope the weather will be good for you.

Just checked the forecast for the next week in sunny Gloucestershire, and the best chance of rain the Met Office is offering us is 20% at the moment, which isn't making the gardener happy, though the builder will be content not to have to work in the wet... ;)

Had a fairly good week for meteors this last week, considering there are no big showers about. 30 last night. 20 the night before. Tonight and tomorrow looking not too bad. After that, however...

...and Cloudy Nights seems to have made a slightly better guess than the Met Office. We had a little rain yesterday, and the last two nights have been clouded out. Forecast for the next few days is decidedly wintery... ;)
