This is the 2nd of 2 images I did in Swanley over the weekend.

Skywatcher ED120 and FR TS 0.79
Atik460EX Baader filters
Ha 22 x 600 (3h 40m)
Oiii 16 x 300 binned (1h 20m)
Sii 16 x 300 binned (1h 20m)
Some RGB for the stars

Total imaging time 6hours 20 mins
Taken from a friend's back garden in Bortle 6



I have also posted up a Crop of the central detail.


The Thing

Looks more like Sauron's Eye! That dust is stunning. Very nice Carole.

Thank you Duncan, really glad I didn't sell this scope now, I had it up for sale a few months ago as I hadn't used it for nearly 2 years.

I think the length of it clashing with the tripod/pier was putting me off.  Just need to be selective what i image with it I think.
