Having to remember 43 different passwords in this day and age is a little bit of a problem.

However I forgot my password for the main site and requested a new one,

Twice in fact,

i've logged on to the main OAS site now, but i can not find any link to edit my details, ect or to change my password.

Any ideas as to where this little beauty is now hiding?

Cheers.

Mac.

I've reset your password to get you going again, see your PMs.

But, now you mention it, I can't find the link either. Just bear with me a while...

There is an option to have your password reset to something random, but it really does mean random. Joomla's account management is all-or-nothing. Either anyone can set up an account and change their details, or only administrators can. We've got it set up so that only administrators can. That rather limited account management is one of the reasons I've not hooked the gallery and the main site together...

If you want to change your main site password to something memorable then you have to ask an administrator. Catch one of them when they have access to the site, and they'll let you type your new password in yourself.
