Title: TV - Einstein's Quantum Riddle
Post by: Roy on Aug 14, 2020, 21:00:38
'Einstein's Quantum Riddle', BBC4 and BBC IPlayer

We've just watched one of the best science programs in a long time, the program was about quantum entanglement and it was full of astronomy, physics and scientific argument, it touched on quantum computing and ended with the possibility of the unification of quantum theory and relativity. Not bad for 1 hour. Again the ability of scientists to think outside the box was remarkable, in this case to use two very large telescopes to capture light from two different quasars as a way of producing a truly random input into an experiment to look at entanglement.

Thanks Roy, sounds interesting; I'll try to catch up via IPlayer.

Looking back through the programmes, the 'Storyville' item just before on Oppenheimer looks good as well?
