Title: Comet C/2018 Iwamoto
Post by: doug on Feb 14, 2019, 09:55:46
Comet C/2018 Iwamoto is speeding past Algenubi in Leo, heading for Castor in Gemini ... it will get there on 18th February. Well worth a look, bright and visible in binoculars and scopes.

The comet is quite faint at 9 to 10 Mag, I couldn't see visually but have the camera on it at the moment.

It was quite bright photographically but also moving quite fast.  I didn't discern much detail, more of a fuzzy green blob.

Will see what came out over the weekend.
