Brendan Owens, who's talking at the next OAS meeting, has let us know that the title of his talk will be "Solar Secrets: Understanding Our Star, The Sun". He adds:
I'll be doing a brief history on solar observations and then talk about the latest space-based solar observatories, Solar Stormwatch and show some of the latest images of the Sun from NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory.
