Title: Sun pics.

These taken with my Olympus Mu through the eyepieces of my Skywatcher 105 with a white light filter and through the Coranado, at the recent Outreach visit to Newstead Woods school. Not very good, but it was quite windy ...... It`s a pity that the Sun looked quite bland.

You did really well there, Doug! A bit of practice for when there is some serious activity occuring

ou did really well there Doug, it's not easy to hold a camera to the eyepiece and take an image, and there is even a trace of detail in the Ha one.

I tried taking pictures with my old telescope by putting a camera to the eye piece and never got anything as good as that!
That's some pretty nice stuff Doug, and I'm sure that's some surface detail in to top left of the Ha one!
