Title: The new RGBW CCDs
Post by: MarkS on Feb 24, 2012, 06:47:50

I thought the new CCDs made by Kodak and Sony would be a good idea since they have a Bayer matrix containing White (i.e. Luminance) alongside R, G and B.

I assumed they would have 25% of the pixels in each of W,R,G & B
But then I saw this site which shows the patterns:

Now I'm not convinced.
