Title: M53 and NGC5053
Post by: RobertM on Apr 24, 2011, 09:28:02
Certainly doesn't compare with Chris's image but it is taken trom Orpington with 19 x 60s of exposure.  Still playing around with the hyperstar and post processing, which I think is slowly improving.  Still a few warts though the collimation seems much better but could probably have been more sympathetically sharpened.

19 x 60s HS-C11
IDAS LPS-P2
Canon 1000D flter removed.
Guided: Lodestar + 50mm finder.
Conditions: Not the best

Getting there, still don't understand why you don't get a one shot colour astro ccd?  Unless your waiting to mod a Canon D1100?

Chris

P.S. I'll get out soon but as will all clear evenings things have been arranged :-(
