As the handset of the EQ6 is out of action, I setup the EQ5 & enjoyed the evening. Everything went ok. The oak is nearly over Polaris again, from this position.
13x600, SW120, Atik 314L, cls, L, 0.8fr, no darks.
I have done RGB but cannot get it right.

I added 11x480 that I took last year to this version. Had to crop as orientation was different.

Blimey Fay - I nearly missed this one as Doug has been posting so many images today... :-)
This looks great - m101 is a really tricky subject & you have got a lot of detail. Good to see you using the 314 as well - I bet it was a piece of cake to use compared with the QSI... I also have a lot of issues with RGB - when I watched Chris last Friday he made it look so easy.. I am beginning to think it is because I have the CLS in line (I see you did as well) so I may try without next time.
This looks great anyway - John
Oh John, that is kind of you. I had to do a lot more subs than Chris & have to use a CLS. I did enjoy it outside that night. I was thinking of the Moon tonight.
I will have to read up on RGB I spent hours , combining in Maxim, AA and PS, but they all looked rough. I will have to read up on it. Ask Chris what he did his with John
That's really good Fay, not an object I've attempted as yet but I have heard before that's it's a difficult one to capture. The combination of both lots of subs has made a difference.
What's the problem with the EQ6 handset?
Carole
won't connect to mount
looks good Fay, thats not the most easy target to get.
Thanks Chris. I thought it was interesting to see how many subs I did & how many you did, also dark sky results as opposed to light polluted etc etc
As everyone says, this is a difficult target. You've done well there to bring out the faintness in those outer arms.
Nice one Fay!
Mark
Thank you Mark
