Title: RTF file
Post by: Fay on Mar 22, 2011, 23:54:44
I could not get a star to show in Astroart focus, so copied the screen, but it has saved as a RTF file. I want to put it on here, via Flickr so Chris can have a look, but I cannot upload it. Tried to open in Irfanview but no good. Does anyone know if i can do it?

Thanks

RTF is a Rich Text File not an image file, you can open it with Wordpad or MS Word etc.
Did you paste the "Print Screen" into Notebook ?
It might have saved the picture in the file - give it a try

I will have a look Mick, thanks. I may put onto a stick & send to Chris as a mail. I wanted to transfer to Flcikr but was not available

Or you could email it to him as an attachment  ;)

Try changing the file extension (.rtf) to .bmp or even .jpg and see what happens then.
