If you keep an observing log what information do you record. Here is the skeleton of the log I have been trying to remember to use for the past year.

Observing Log
Observing Station:   Mounthurst Rd
Longitude   +51o22'00"
Lattitude   00o00'22"East

Date   
Time   
Weather:   
Cloud cover:   
Transparency:   
Seeing:   
Moon:   
Light Pollution   
Limiting Magnitude
Notes:

If you are logging info for astrophotography then the following additional info is a good idea.
1. The object you are photographing.
2. The camera you are using
3. The film type and speed
4. The optical system you are using (i.e. 50mm lens or 100inch Mount Wilson, I wish :grin: )
5. The f ratio of the lens/scope
6. The exposure time
7. The time you took the photo if not UT then say so.
