Title: Action call over light pollution

If you want to get your message across about light pollution to your MP go to  http://www.faxyourmp.co.uk and send a FAX asking what your MP is intending to do about the light pollution issue in your area.  It's always worthwhile pointing out the three aspects of the problem: -

1 – The complete waste of electricity, remember we pay for this in our rates;

2 – The light pollution caused, the effects are well known to any astronomer;

3 – The lack of a central policy regarding the local planning regulations and public lighting.  Ask when is it going to be addressed?

Obviously our priority would probably be 2 -1 -3, but MP's are driven by cash.
