Title: The Burgess works
Post by: mickw on Jul 25, 2008, 02:07:08
Got in tonight and decided to have a play with the Burgess.
Just stuck it on a tripod and had a nose around.
Jupiter was still visible so stuck a 12mm EP on and was surprised to see how clear the bands were, even clearly saw Europa touching the edge.
Tried to get cocky and have a look for Albireo and M57 but a waste of time using the tripod.
I think the scope will perform very well on a proper mount - I am a happy bunny  :)

Decided to call it a night after 2 cats had a punch up in next doors garden and scared the crap out of me

could have been worse Mick. Paul had a burglar disturb him one night...

So, what mount are you getting then?

Mick,

I'll send you a couple of jars down, just in case you get your scope out again, and the cats are about, as I have an order for a black one and persian at the moment.

Ian,

This is very, very, very sad. Can't you fined a hobby like soapmaking or collecting conifer cones or something, rather than spending 4 hours a day, every day, listening to the same tune about badgers and a bloody mushroom.

Have they any videos about weasels?

Tongue hurting........................ Biting too hard.........  :o

Mike,
Did the badger want to be first in line for the scouse ?

Ian,
I hate you - that is the worst song ever and I now want to kill anything that resembles a badger
Already got the mount - HEQ5 pro  :D  Too bone idle to set it up though
What noise did the burglar make when Paul farted ?  Probably a choking noise then a thud

Tony,
Does it matter if they are a bit flat ?  If they scare me like that again they are gonna get a visit from Mr. Shovel

2 pussies and you getting your equipment out in the garden, all in the same thread.

It isn't only your tongue that bloody hurting.
