Title: Venus - The Morning Crescent
Post by: Mike on Nov 26, 2002, 15:05:00
If you get up early, look towards the south for Venus. It's low in the sky and clearly visible for a while before the sun comes up. Venus is at its largest at the moment so well worth a look. In fact its so large that even through a pair of binoculars held steady you can clearly see the crescent. I took a look this morning and its a very nice thing to look at and just looks like a smaller version of the moon.

I had a quick look this morning. Close by you can see Spica and Mars!! What a pretty site.
