Just a thought for those using the ASIAir, particularly older versions without an aerial.
I have found that the WiFi signal is not always robust. Intending to connect it to a WiFi booster I plugged an Ethernet cable into the ASIAir but didn't plug in the other end. I went indoors to fetch something and found the signal massively boosted through the metal walls of the observatory (which was closed up) and across 30' of garden.
I thought that this might be useful information for anyone with a similar problem and may even work with the more expensive models which do have an aerial.
