Title: Coocon Nebula from 2018 with Ha added
Post by: Carole on Aug 13, 2024, 11:28:12
My 3rd and final image from my kit set up in the garden to reach the Zenith.

this is my orginal image in 2018 taken at Cairds:

Total Luminance = 4.4 hours
Total RGB 1h 10m
Grand Total 5h 40m

Now with a further 4 hours Ha added taken on Sunday evening (and some new processing skills) - also taken on my dual rig, 12 x 600 on each so a total of 24 x 600 = 4 hours.

So LHaRGB totals 9h 40mins (I am sure the Ha would have been better at a DSC).

Continuing my reprocessing of the Cocoon Nebula from 2018.  I had done a Cropped Version in 2018 in LRGB.  I thought the stars were bloated at that time, so decided to have another go at it with my new found processes and Star Exterminator.
