Title: A couple of solar and one dark from Petts Wood

Taken in the second half of June.

Sun Ha - 23 June 2024 - Animation including flare AR13719, 3720 - 09:02 to 10:05UT

Acquired through 94mm f/7 scope working at 3000mm EFL using double-stacked front mounted Ha etalon.  Seeing was average.

Wow, a great string of images. Might turn that into some sort of educational demo during Members images.  Didn't see an image for Oiii but you say it is SHO, then  OSC thrown in, presume that's for the stars.

Thank you Dave, Carole!   Carole, yes did not post the OIII image as not particularly detailed, but SHO indeed.  The OSC image provided the stars and some of the nebulae colours for the "trunk" where there's a nice reflection nebula (vdB142).

Carole, you can right click on the image at the Astrobin's link and save it as .gif.  I have just tested it.
