Title: The Milky Way
Post by: The Thing on Jun 10, 2024, 13:54:26
Single JPG 30s at ISO 1600. Literally a grab shot as I stuck my head out of the observatory/shed to go to bed at 2:30am CET. It was the clearest sky for a long time. Camera and tripod were handy so I started snapping. Bortle 4 / SQM 21.67 apparently. And the streetlights all  go off at 21:30 :) to 06:30 :) :)

Image date, time and location: 2024-06-11, Manche France
Telescope aperture and focal ratio: Samyang 14mm f2.8
Camera and filters used: Canon 1100d. UVIR Clip filter, custom white balance
Processing applied: Affinity Photo 2.5

Nice shot Duncan. You're so lucky with your street lights going off.
