Superb collection Roberto. I am disappointed I was not tuned in enough to the aurorae. Was at Bough Beech last night with JOhn D and Chris, but it did not appear. I did see the sunspots, through the societys Coronado, while visiting Cairds
Fay
Thank you Fay! I wasn't expecting the aurora to be visible from London TBH. I had actually left my scope imaging after doing some double star observing and gone to bed. When I checked the weather before going to sleep at 11pm I had one last look at the allsky camera and saw the sky pink! Dragged my wife out of bed and called the neighbours! It was magical. I could have stayed out all night. Ended up packing at around 1AM.
Last night the sky was reddish overhead and very green to the northern horizon. No light curtains though. The seeing was excellent and I managed to observe some doubles I had not been able to low on the horizon because of it.
Roberto
A great collection Roberto, I will have to get cracking on the imaging report now I am back from DSC.
