Title: NGC1333 Reprocess from 2016 & 2017
Post by: Carole on Sep 23, 2023, 16:40:35
I took this image two years running at Kelling and wasn't happy with either.  But several years on with new processing tricks up my sleeve I decided to combine both images and see if I could make a better job of it.

Unfortunately some of the stars are bloated as some of the equipment I was using then was undersampling which was a lesson I learnt after that.

Both taken at Kelling Heath Star party:

September 2016 ED120 and Atik 314L 2h 43mins

September 2017 dual rig. ED80/460 11 x 600 + WO/314 6 x 600

Total imaging time 5h 35mins

Always good to look at old data.
Also combining the data doubled the exposure time.
